Mexico City Sends Guthrie to Southern California
Monday, December 26th , 2016
Mexico City and Southern California announced today in a joint press conference that 24-year old minor league RHP Nick Garcia and 23-year old minor league LHP Justin Guthrie will be going to the Empires in exchange for 29-year old RHP Bob Kiesow. "It'll be exciting to join a new organization," one player said. "Some of us could use a fresh start." The players have each passed physicals and are expected to report by day's end.
