Winnipeg-Saskatoon Deal: Fowlow for Bobb

The Buffaloes announced today the acquisition of 24-year old minor league RF Joel Bobb and 23-year old minor league LHP Kiefer Klein from the Saskatoon Moose in exchange for 26-year old RHP Lloyd Fowlow. "This isn't the biggest deal out there," acknowledged the Buffaloes, "but it should help out both clubs."
Fowlow has pitched in 29 games over his career, posting 7 saves and a 3-6 won-lost mark. He has registered an ERA of 2.98, logged 54.1 innings and recorded 63 strikeouts.

Ottawa, Green Bay Swap Players

The Ottawa Capitals have released a statement confirming the trade of 23-year old minor league LHP Brian Manuel to the Green Bay Braves for 29-year old LHP Corey Williams and $460 in cash. The deal was finalized today.
Green Bay will retain a portion of Williams's remaining contract.
Since his debut in the league, Williams has posted 18 victories and 27 defeats with an ERA of 4.40.
