Calgary Wins it All Saturday, October 21st , 2023 The Calgary Caracals ignited a huge celebration as they beat the Detroit Chargers 8-1 to win the SPBC Classic Series. Calgary won the series 4-2, capturing the title for the 2nd time. "We stepped it up at the right time, and now we're the champs," said Calgary manager Bert Collier. "It's a great feeling." The champs finished the regular season 90-72 and claimed first place in the Western Semi-Pro Circuit. In the jubilant clubhouse after the decisive game, series MVP and third baseman Adam Shepard said the Caracals have "great fans and they deserve this."
