Miyagi Pitches 3-0 Shutout for Vancouver
Gouki Miyagi hurled a fine game for the Vancouver Bruins at Ballpark of Vacaville, holding the Vacaville Steelheads to 5 hits in a shutout win.

"When he started out, his command wasn't that good, but he's a tough guy," Vancouver manager Julian Arebalo said. "The more pitches he throws, the better his command is."

The left-hander had 12 strikeouts and no walks in the 3-0 victory.

"An outstanding job," Vacaville manager Sergio Rodriguez said. "We couldn't get anything going. Every time we got a hit, he got out of the jam. He pitched a terrific game."
