Allentown Trades Moctezuma to Sherbrooke for Viotti

The Allentown Fleetwings swapped 30-year old LF Juan Moctezuma for 27-year old 3B Ferruccio Viotti of the Canadians after what Sherbrooke officials would only characterize as "difficult" negotiations.
In his 289-game career Moctezuma has hit .258 with 248 hits, 40 home runs, and 161 RBIs and has scored 126 runs.

Schrader and Vannette Swapped

The Buffaloes and Chargers have been engaged in a little wheeling and dealing. They have just concluded a trade with 20-year old minor league C Josh Edwards and 23-year old 2B Dan Schrader going to Detroit in exchange for 31-year old LF Cody Vannette and $1,100 in cash.
Detroit will retain a portion of Vannette's remaining contract.
