Glaser Excels, But Braves Win
The Green Bay Braves besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Quebec City left fielder Josh Glaser by beating the Admirals, 10-8, at Braves Ballpark. Glaser belted 3 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored three times. Bailey Breen, the winner, improved to 2-8. He held the Admirals to 4 runs on 3 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 7 and walking 3. Luis Gurrola locked down his 7th save.

In the bottom of the sixth, Green Bay right fielder Eric Broussard put his team on top. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit his 11th double of the year. Quebec City pitcher Antonio Maytorena served it up. Just like that, the Braves were ahead, 5-4.

Braves manager Joe Sanchez wasn't all too pleased, despite the win, telling reporters that the performance highlighted some clear areas for improvement moving forward. He refused to be more specific, however. "I'm not gonna publicize our weaknesses," he said. "That stuff stays in the clubhouse."

The last-place Braves own a record of 23-50.
