Detroit Wins Circuit Championship Series Saturday, October 10th , 2026 Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit fans were certainly not disappointed with this Eastern Semi-Pro Circuit Circuit Championship Series. The two teams were evenly matched and the series went to the final game, with the Detroit Chargers prevailing over the Albany Senators to advance to the SPBC Classic Series. Detroit won the final game by a score of 7-0 at Senators Field and that sealed the series 4-3. "Things were tense in our clubhouse and dugout before and during this game, but we can let loose a bit now -- the hard work is over, for now," said right fielder Matthew Franklin, who earned MVP honors. For the series, Franklin hit .400 with a .471 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, 5 RBI and scored 5 runs.
