No Late-Season Magic Coming: Mexico City Out of Playoffs Monday, September 21st , 2026 It's a close-but-no-cigar type of season for the Mexico City Aztecas. The club today was officially eliminated from playoff contention. Mexico City last appeared in the postseason in 2023. This is their 3rd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 12 times in their 22-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Aztecas have made the playoffs 5 times. |
