Buffaloes Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Sunday, September 13th , 2026 The Winnipeg Buffaloes have a new opponent: mathematics. The Buffaloes still have games to play in their disappointing 2026 campaign, but the numbers say they won't mean much -- the Buffaloes were today mathematically eliminated from qualifying for the postseason. Winnipeg last appeared in the postseason in 2010. This is their 16th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 22 times in their 25-year history. Winnipeg last won the SPBC Classic Series in 2008. |
