Star of the Week Picked in ESPC Monday, August 24th , 2026 Not every ball that came off Esteban Avila's bat last week was a line drive or a towering shot -- it just seemed that way to the teams that played the Hamilton Tigers. For his exploits, Avila was named this week's Eastern Semi-Pro Circuit Player of the Week award. The Hamilton catcher put up 9 hits in 16 at-bats and 3 home runs while hitting .562 with 8 RBIs and 4 runs scored. Thus far this year, Avila is batting .289 with 24 home runs, 65 RBIs and 48 runs scored. |
