Newark Stymied by Pesa Monday, August 3rd , 2026 Jesse Pesa pitched a strong game at Eagles Park, blanking the Newark Eagles, 2-0. Pesa, who is tied for 9th in the ESPC in complete games with 1, allowed no runs on 3 hits, totaled 7 strikeouts and gave up 3 walks. Quebec City manager Kevin Terminiello said he could tell immediately it was going to be a good game for Pesa. "Right from the start, you could see how economical he was," Terminiello said.
