Eagles and Empires Ready to Deal? Tuesday, July 28th , 2026 The Southern California Empires have acknowledged receiving a trade offer from the Newark Eagles, but they insist little progress has been made in striking a deal. Both sides apparently have serious misgivings about the particulars of a potential trade. It remains to be seen what develops, if anything. Newark is 44-63 through 107 games, placing them 9th in their division. Southern California is 59-48. |
