Deal: Wood for Rojas Tuesday, July 21st , 2026 Trade winds have been blowing through Southern California. This time, a deal has materialized between the Empires and Drillers. According to sources inside the organization, Southern California will ship 22-year old minor league 2B Damason Quintanilla and 24-year old minor league 3B Joe Wood to Edmonton for 30-year old RHP Danny Rojas. This season, Wood is batting .208 with 1 home run. His totals include 7 RBIs and 3 runs scored. So far this season, Rojas has worked 72.2 innings in 42 relief appearances with 11 saves. He has dished out 87 strikeouts and walked 17 with a 2-2 mark and a 3.47 ERA. |
