Vacaville, Southern California Make Trade Monday, November 30th , 2026 According to BNN there were mixed emotions by the players involved in the trade between the Vacaville Steelheads and the Southern California Empires. As part of the deal, the Steelheads swapped 24-year old minor league LHP Victor Perez to the Empires getting 30-year old RHP Eddie Vellucci in return. The players indicated it was good to get a fresh new start in another city, but it was difficult to leave your friends on the old team. In career numbers, Vellucci has registered a 33-29 record with a 3.52 ERA. |
