Southern California, Allentown Confirm Trade Monday, November 30th , 2026 It's all done except the paperwork. The Southern California Empires and the Allentown Fleetwings have agreed to a trade that will send 17-year old minor league CF Carlos Suarez to Allentown, while 33-year old RHP Jayden Roberson will be shipped to Southern California. A top front office executive with the Empires described the trade talks as "quick and easy." "We're glad to get this deal done. We think it's something that helps our ball club and it didn't take too long at all to sort this one out," he said. Since breaking in, Roberson has posted a 31-34 record with 5 saves in 117 appearances. The 33-year-old has rung up 484 strikeouts, has a 3.56 ERA and has allowed teams to hit .251 against him. |
