Saskatoon Trades Whalen for Vancouver's Patterson Monday, November 30th , 2026 The Saskatoon Moose have made a deal sending 32-year old 1B Andy Whalen to the Vancouver Narwhals for 30-year old LHP Marc Patterson and 19-year old minor league C Victor Valencia. Both sides are said to be pleased with the way the trade worked out. In 223 career games Whalen is hitting at a .288 pace with 231 hits with 35 doubles, 2 triples and 38 homers while scoring 102 runs and racking up 125 RBIs. He logged 69 walks and owns a .347 on-base percentage. In his career, Patterson has compiled an ERA of 4.18 with 15 victories and 24 defeats and has held opponents to a .262 batting average. |
