Vacaville's Therkelsen Voted WSPC's #1 Skipper Tuesday, November 3rd , 2026 An outstanding season by the Steelheads garnered their manager John Therkelsen the Western Semi-Pro Circuit Manager of the Year award for 2026. He led Vacaville to a 100-62 record this year and a first place finish in the Western Semi-Pro Circuit. Even so, Therkelsen seemed less than thrilled. "I don't give a darn about the award," he growled to reporters, "I just want this team to win championships!" |
