San Francisco Wins Play-in Series Tuesday, October 7th , 2025 The San Francisco Peanuts put together a solid effort in ousting the Minnesota Loons to advance to the Cup Qualifier. San Francisco won the final game by a 8-7 count and captured the Play-in Series 4-2. Ivan Palafox led the way for San Francisco, turning in a strong performance on the mound. "I just tried to make pitches and get outs, I guess it worked out," said Palafox, who was named series MVP. The MVP had a 1.00 ERA over 18 innings pitched, with a 2-0 record.
