He was one tough cookie on the mound last month with a fine 4-0 mark to prove it. The Los Angeles star made 4 starts with a 3.00 ERA and surrendered 27 hits in 30 innings. He struck out 30 and walked 11. In 22 starts this season, Townsend has fashioned a 9-6 record and a 3.95 ERA. |
