Sanchez Named 2025 EC Most Valuable Position Player Award Winner Saturday, November 8th , 2025 Edwin Sanchez of the Chicago Union proved that you can step out of the shadows and onto the stage if you've got the talent and the drive to hone your skills. Hard work, long hours and a tireless resolve paid off for him today in the form of the Eastern Circuit Most Valuable Position Player Award. Sanchez hit for a .337 average while collecting 105 hits, 21 doubles, 6 triples, 13 home runs, 62 RBIs and scoring 64 times. He received 12 first place votes out of a possible 24.
