Loons Dump Arizona, 10-5, to Win 4th in a Row

Minnesota played host to Arizona at The Asylum at Loons Ballpark.
The Minnesota Loons beat the Arizona Suns, 10-5, with major props going to second baseman Melvin Alvarez. On the day, Alvarez went 3 for 4 with 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Loons. Daniel Miller got credit for the win, improving to 1-1. He allowed 4 runs on 3 hits in 6 innings. Alejandro Olivarez stitched up the save, his 11th.
Robert DeRosa, who is a three-time All-Star, took Arizona hurler Brian Phillips deep in the bottom of the fourth. His 3-run home run put the Loons on top, 4-3. In all, DeRosa had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
