Mavericks Walk Off with 9-8 Win
The Houston Mavericks clipped the Los Angeles Knights, 9-8, in 11 innings at Mavericks Ballpark. The standout performance belonged to Houston pitcher and Takamatsu, Japan, native Yasusaburo Kunishige. Houston has now won 3 in a row.

The Mavericks got a clutch hit from center fielder Justin Turner. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Mavericks.

"Our team showed some spunk," said Kunishige.
