In a low-scoring contest between the San Diego Roadrunners and the Vancouver Grizzlies, Olaf Hoffman, who is tied for 7th in the WC in innings pitched with 125.1, proved to be the difference. The San Diego right-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-2 Roadrunners win. Ray Escamilla picked up the save for San Diego, his 10th of the year. The 7th-place Roadrunners go to 34-37.
