Bluebirds Nudge Past Shamrocks, 5-4

Nashville picked up a win at Boston Commons, bumping off the Boston Shamrocks, 5-4. Pitcher Oscar Berrios was a major reason the Bluebirds emerged victorious. Nashville reliever Ricky Medina got the win, raising his record to 5-4. Raquel Lobato was tagged with the loss. The 9th-place Bluebirds now have a win-loss record of 31-36.
It could have been a different outcome for Nashville, had it not been for Alex Carrasco, the 28-year old second baseman . Carrasco contributed a 2-run single in the top of the second inning to put Nashville up, 2-0.
"We're all smiles after that win," Berrios told the Nashville News.
