The Los Angeles Knights beat the Denver Cutthroats, 8-3, at Cutter's Cove. Hitomaro Takemura was 3-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The 29-year old second baseman was a menace to Denver all day. Denver now is 3-2.

With Los Angeles leading 2-0 in the top of the third, Takemura hit a sinker from Sergio Hernandez for a 2-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Knights ahead, 4-0.

"I still think this team can play even better," Takemura told the Los Angeles Bulletin.
