Victory Over Roadrunners Takes El Paso to 30-13
In a tight tilt between El Paso and San Diego, pitcher Josiah Sanders was a key contributor. The right-hander earned accolades for his standout performance in the 3-2 Diablos win. Ken Trombley got the save, the 8th for him this season. El Paso goes to 30-13, San Diego to 17-26.

El Paso took a 3-1 lead on Eric Linkletter's 13th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which Linkletter hit in the bottom of the seventh, left San Diego pitcher Olaf Hoffman visibly frustrated.

Linkletter attributed the win to his team's "steely resolve."
