St. Louis parlayed a decent outing from starter Benno de Smit into a solid win over the New York City Gothams. The final score was 9-3. In 9 innings, de Smit surrendered 8 hits, while striking out 12 and walking 0. He allowed 3 runs.

Cameron White had a big 2-run double for the Lions in the bottom of the second inning.
