Motors Slap 6-3 Loss on Tampa Bay
The Detroit Motors picked up a win, 6-3, over the Tampa Bay Thunder at The Motor Yard. Casey Ingalls led the charge. The Corpus Christi, Texas native was 3 for 4 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 3 times for Detroit. Burl Fenton picked up the win, improving his season record to 6-7. He struck out 4 in 5 innings. The Motors, at 29-27, sit in 6th place in the Eastern Circuit.

The Motors got a big at-bat from designated hitter Jayden Bowser. For the game, Bowser was 1 for 4 with a home run. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Detroit a 4-3 lead.

Detroit manager Sean Morgan was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys played hard," he said.
