Milagres 3-for-5 to Ignite Loons Offense
The Minnesota Loons beat the Vancouver Grizzlies, 7-4, at The Asylum at Loons Ballpark. Minnesota first baseman Adolfo Milagres had the hot bat. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. Jonathan Woods earned the win to go to 6-1. He allowed 2 runs on 5 hits, with 1 walk and 6 strikeouts in 6.1 innings of work. With the win, the Loons sit at 22-13.

With Minnesota leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Milagres batted against Vancouver pitcher Boboy Formentera. Milagres hit a changeup to right for a 3-run home run. His 8th home run of the season put the Loons on top, 4-0.

"It was our day today," Milagres told the Minnesota Daily. "But we've got to keep our nose to the grindstone."
