Salinas Belts Bunch of Base Hits

David Salinas was unstoppable, but the Miami Sun Sox were not.
Despite his hitting heroics at The Lions Hearth, the Sun Sox lost, 6-4, to the St. Louis Lions. Salinas battered St. Louis for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His only consolation will be a boost in his batting average and a brief mention in the record book.
Salinas just shook his head after the game, telling BNN reporters, "It's the team with the most runs that wins, not the most hits."
David Salinas singled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
