Lions Go 10 Innings to Beat Atlanta, 7-5
Frank Robinson did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to spare the Atlanta Pilots an extra-inning, 7-5 loss to the St. Louis Lions at The Hangar. Robinson was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. St. Louis is off to a hot start at 2-1.

St. Louis used the timely hitting of Juan Chaves to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Lions on top, 7-5. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Our team found a way to get it done," said Chaves.
