In the 8-6 Vancouver win over San Diego, the impact of Garrett Thomason was substantial. Thomason, the 10th overall pick in the 2021 draft, was 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI. Vancouver pitcher Boboy Formentera earned the win, hiking his record to 3-2. Justin Johnson suffered the loss. The victory puts Vancouver at 11-16.

Early in the game, Thomason had a 2-run double for Vancouver. It was his 3rd double of the season and put the Grizzlies on top, 2-0.
