Chicago catcher Justin Houchens had a good game, even if his team did not. The Union dropped a 5-3 decision to Boston at Boston Commons. Houchens was 2 for 3 with a home run. He scored 2 times. Evan McRae finished to wrap up his 2nd save. The win for the Shamrocks raised their record to 17-9.

Boston took a 5-3 lead on Andre Williams's 4th home run of the season. The solo home run, which Williams hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Chicago pitcher Henrik Kuehnemund visibly frustrated.

Williams attributed the win to "a well-rounded effort by the whole team."
