Seattle and Dallas duked it out and the Gulls came out victorious.

The Seattle Gulls beat the Dallas Texans, 8-6, at Everything's Bigger in Texas Ballpark. Seattle first baseman Aaron Reed had the hot bat. He went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. No one expected much of this team, but the hot start by Seattle might have some re-evaluating their pre-season predictions. This latest win lifts their record to 9-6.

Adam Longo provided a timely hit. The Seattle pinch hitter delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the eighth inning to put the Gulls on top, 7-6. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.

"I like our moxie," said Gulls manager Mike Beck.
