The Dallas Texans beat the Seattle Gulls, 9-5, at Everything's Bigger in Texas Ballpark. The Texans got a fine performance from right fielder Torjus Rasmussen, who went 3 for 3 with a triple, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. The win went to Nick Neuser in relief. His record improves to 3-1. Jake Crosno took the loss. With the win, Dallas improves its record to 7-6.
Danny Sanchez had a big grand slam home run for the Texans in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Dallas trailing 4-3 and the bases loaded, he got a cutter from Jake Crosno and swatted a home run to right-center. It was his 2nd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Texans ahead, 7-4.
Sanchez told a Dallas Observer reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
