With 5-1 Win, Diablos Improve to 9-3
The El Paso Diablos went home winners at Inferno Field, thanks in large part to starter Joel Ibarra. Ibarra stifled the Los Angeles Knights, enabling El Paso to grab the 5-1 win. Ibarra, now 2-0, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 6, walking 1, and allowing 1 run. The Knights fall to 5-7 and continue their lethargic start to the 2025 season.

El Paso left fielder Javier Blanco contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the second. With two down, he hit a fastball to right-center field for a 2-run single. It was his 13th hit of the season and put the Diablos ahead, 3-0.

"We came in and got the job done. That's what it's all about in this business," said Blanco.
