El Paso Moves on to Cup Qualifier
Mark Brown isn't taking anything for granted, but he likes his team's chances to capture a Pro Circuit Cup.

"We're playing great baseball right now," said the El Paso Diablos hurler, who was named MVP of the Play-in Series after his club swept the Denver Cutthroats.

It's off to the Cup Qualifier for El Paso, after winning the clinching game by a 2-0 count and the series 4-0.

It remains to be seen whether Brown's confidence is warranted, but at this point the team is looking good. The MVP had a 0.54 ERA over 16.2 innings pitched, with a 2-0 record.

The Cup Qualifier matchups and schedule will be announced after the Play-in Series finishes.
