Almost There: Chicago On Cusp of PI Triumph After 7-4 Win
Riding the 2-hit performance of center fielder Jordan Blackwell, the Chicago Union got a road win against the Boston Shamrocks, 7-4, in Game 4 of the Play-in Series. Blackwell was 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Union, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 3 games to 1.

Chicago needed the clutch hitting of Joel Peterson to seal the deal. The first baseman swatted a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Union on top, 5-4. For the game, Peterson had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Blackwell said.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Boston Commons in Boston.
