Clinkscales, Union Take Dramatic Game 1 for 1-0 Series Lead
The Chicago Union took the first game of the Play-in Series in dramatic fashion, topping the Boston Shamrocks, 5-4, in an extra-inning walk-off win. Union right fielder Jay Clinkscales was 4 for 5 with a triple, 3 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times.

In the bottom of the tenth, Tom Shelton knew he could end it with one good swing of the bat. And he did, hitting a run-scoring single off Boston pitcher Raquel Lobato.

"That was fun but I'll be happy with a nice, safe win next time," Chicago manager Ron Chiu said.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Trident Field in Chicago.
