The Las Vegas Aces besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Minnesota first baseman Adolfo Milagres by beating the Loons, 8-6, at Caesers Palace Colosseum. Milagres went 4-5 with 4 singles and a walk. He scored 2 runs. Justin Goldman snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-1 on the season. Alejandro Olivarez suffered the loss. The Loons fall to 3-7 and continue their wobbly start to the 2025 season.

Las Vegas got a clutch hit from Marco Llamas. The shortstop launched a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 12th inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 6 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.

"There's no quit in this team," said Aces manager Casey Lyman.
