Fans brought energy and enthusiasm to the Denver Cutthroats home opener. Sergio Hernandez started for the home team against Ernesto Calderon for the Minnesota Loons. The Cutthroats were unable to reward the home crowd with a win. The final score was 4-2, Minnesota. Ernesto Calderon, though, was impressive. Calderon yielded 2 runs over 6 innings to notch the win.
