The 18-year-old tantalized the San Francisco (R) Peanuts with crisp curves and changeups, mixed in with just enough fastballs to keep the batters honest, shutting them out, 7-0. "He had the changeup working," San Francisco (R) manager Cris Jauregui said in postgame comments. "You knew it was coming and you still grounded out -- and then he threw it even slower." The San Diego (R) hurler had 3 strikeouts, gave up 2 walks and surrendered 7 hits in his complete-game effort.
