El Paso Wins Play-in Series Monday, October 7th , 2024 Fans of the St. Louis Lions groaned when Skylar Cole stepped up to the plate in the Play-in Series. And for good reason too, as the El Paso Diablos player was instrumental in guiding his team to a 4-1 series win over the Lions. The series was clinched tonight at The Lions Hearth, with El Paso coming out on top 4-0 in the deciding game. Cole's strong series included a .471 batting average, with a .571 on-base percentage.
