Fans of the St. Louis Lions groaned when Skylar Cole stepped up to the plate in the Play-in Series.

And for good reason too, as the El Paso Diablos player was instrumental in guiding his team to a 4-1 series win over the Lions.

The series was clinched tonight at The Lions Hearth, with El Paso coming out on top 4-0 in the deciding game.

Cole's strong series included a .471 batting average, with a .571 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 1 RBI and scored 6 runs.
