Southern California Trades Clark for Albany's Diaw Monday, November 27th , 2023 It's all done except the paperwork. The Southern California Empires and the Albany Senators have agreed to a trade that will send 24-year old minor league RHP Marquis Beckum and 24-year old LHP Matt Clark to Albany, while 29-year old RHP Justin Diaw will be shipped to Southern California. A top front office executive with the Empires described the trade talks as "quick and easy." "We're glad to get this deal done. We think it's something that helps our ball club and it didn't take too long at all to sort this one out," he said. Diaw has 11 saves in his career with a 5-8 record and a 3.43 ERA. |
