Las Vegas, Green Bay Deal Made Friday, November 17th , 2023 BNN is reporting a rumored trade between the Las Vegas Rollers and Green Bay Braves has been finalized. The deal, which is expected to be announced sometime during the next few hours, will reportedly send 22-year old minor league 3B Billy Fernandez to Green Bay in return for 29-year old RHP Joseph Begum and 24-year old RF Willie Ortiz. The clubs were noncommittal on the trade, but did not deny it. A check of his career stats reveals Begum has chalked up 41 wins and 42 losses with 623 strikeouts and a 3.30 ERA. Opposing teams have put up a .253 batting average against him. |
