Mejia and Laughlin Dealt Friday, November 17th , 2023 The Drillers and Chargers announced a deal that was completed today. Edmonton sent 24-year old RF Raul Membreno, 24-year old RHP Craig Stargell, and 24-year old RHP Francisco Mejia to Detroit for 30-year old RHP Aaron Laughlin. Both teams appear happy with the outcome of the trade. The general managers told the Baseball News Network they felt the swap was beneficial for all parties involved. Laughlin's career stats show a 2-7 record, 54 appearances, 19 saves and a 3.30 ERA. He has 100 strikeouts in 90 innings pitched. |
