D.C., Quebec City Agree to Swap Monday, November 13th , 2023 The Potomacs and Admirals pulled the trigger on a deal that will see 27-year old RHP Joop Boerboom head to Quebec City in exchange for 20-year old minor league 2B Angel Corrales and 24-year old minor league LHP James Smith. A source close to D.C. officials said, "The teams spent long hours coming to the agreement and in the end, both agreed the deal should help both clubs." In his whole career, the 27-year-old Boerboom has won 2 and lost 6, piling up 115 strikeouts and 27 walks in 120.2 innings with a 3.51 ERA. Opponents have hit .272 against him. |
