Kim Selected WSPC's Best Player Monday, November 6th , 2023 Woo-jin Kim has been around Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit enough to know a good hot streak when he sees one -- and he got to see one firsthand all year. For his standout run through the 2023 season, he's taking home the Most Valuable Player Award in the Western Semi-Pro Circuit. The Vancouver first baseman put up a batting average of .291 with 37 doubles, 6 triples, 26 home runs and 87 RBIs. He received 11 first place votes out of a possible 20. Jim Wermter of the Southern California Empires finished second in voting with 5 first place votes, while Josh Woodford of the Mexico City Aztecas finished third with 3 first place votes.
