Christensen Grabs ESPC Reliever of the Year Award Wednesday, November 1st , 2023 Tim Christensen has won the 2023 Eastern Semi-Pro Circuit Reliever of the Year Award, which at age 36 is a "milestone achievement" for the New York Knights reliever. "I feel accomplished to win this when there are other younger, stronger, harder-throwing guys out there," he said. The Deptford Township, New Jersey native's numbers speak for themselves, as he captured the award with 17 saves in 57 relief appearances, compiling 95 innings. He had 92 strikeouts and 39 walks, a record of 4-6 and an ERA of 3.03. He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. John McClinton of the Quebec City Admirals finished second in voting, while Bruce Hernandez of the D.C. Potomacs finished third.
